We start with a theoretical introduction and a small driving practise, before we start the adventure. Lonely tracks away from main traffic, in the midst of the most beautiful nature will take you to a beautiful landscape on the Cretan mountains. Splash through streams, wind along ancient gorges, and look for island wildlife from behind the wheel of a personal quad vehicle. Get a taste of Cretan history and culture during several stops along the way, including a traditional Greek brunch at Kalamafka Village. The off-road quad safari from Ierapetra explores hard-to-reach areas of Crete’s southern coast. A Great way to experience Cretan culture and nature off the beaten path.
Our Program
We start at 9.00 at our meeting point. Our guide will give you all the instructions of the vehicle. You will have the opportunity to make a test driving for to get familiar with the Quad.
We will leave the town on the north side, where we will go to the lake of Bramiana. There will be our first stop to take photos at a beautiful little church. Our next stop will take us to the Kalamafka spring, which is plenty of water normally, also in summer and we can fresh up a little bit. After we will go up to the top of the mountains. At the Church of the Holy Cross, at an altitude of approx. 1000 meters with a fantastic 360° panoramic view, we will stop for a breathtaking photoshooting. From there you have a stunning view, of both seas of the island, the Cretan Sea in the North and the Lybian Sae in the South. After that, we are driving back to Kalamafka village, where we will do our next stop, making a walk around in this still lively village in the mountains of Ierapetra.
In a lovely village taverna with a breathtaking view, we will get a brunch with traditional Cretan Tappas.
After we will return to Ierapetra
