Due to its incredible natural beauty and important ecosystem, it has been included in the European initiative NATURA 2000. It has an area of 4,743 square kilometers, and a maximum altitude of 27 meters. It’s an island known for its exotic waters in all the shades of blue and green, the golden beaches -where it got its name from-, and the protected forest with the cedar trees, which are over 200 years old. Chrissi is a piece of paradise on earth, the southernmost natural park of Europe, and a gem in the Mediterranean Sea.

Balos Express

is leaving every day from Ierapetra to Chrissi Island and and back. It is 41m long and 7m wide. The max. capicity is 320 Passengers. The boat needs about 1 hour to go to the island. There are two open decks, one air-conditioned main hall, TV, DVD, stereo music and a self-service bar. For tickets just contact us!

boat has a length of 27m and a width of 7 meters. The max. capicity is 250 passengers. It offers you a sun protected open deck, an air-conditioned main hall, TV, DVD, music and a bar.

Christina Boat

The Magic boat Christina with its nice familiar atmosphere offers you a daytrip to Chrissi Island you will never forget! Christina boat is a traditional wooden boat with a capicity of max. 40 people. You can choose a cruise with food or just drinks and fruits. But, you will always have an additional swimming stop in the sea, which makes this trip to something really special.
